FILM SUBMISSION: ‘The Loop’ by Céline Floyd

2

Our ‘Women Film-Makers’ segment wants to try to showcase the work of budding women directors. This doesn’t necessarily mean you have to be making films as a profession, or submitting them to festivals, you can submit something you made for a school project, or just lil experimental stuff you’ve shot by yourself or with friends. All we need is a bit of writing about yourself and the film, and a working YouTube/Vimeo link. Click here for more details on how to submit.

Céline Floyd is an 18 year old Canadian and French artist. She is mostly inspired by people — especially those she loves —, emotions and interaction, architecture, comedy, death, nature, light, literature, especially poetry, and visual art.

The Loop‘ is a short film about the ambiguity between dreams and reality.

CHLOEChloe Leeson is the founder of Screenqueens. She is 20 and from the north of England (the proper north). She believes Harmony Korine is the future and is pretty sure she coined the term ‘selfie central’. She doesn’t like Pina Coladas or getting caught in the rain but she does like Ezra Miller a whole lot. Her favourite films are Into The Wild, The Beach and Lords of Dogtown. But DON’T talk to her about Paranormal Activity. She rants about cinema screenings @kawaiigoff.
