Angelina Coronado is a 15 year old girl that likes watching movies, (generally old horror films), and writing about many things she thinks of. She finds that in a lot of horror movies she watches, woman characters are shown as weak and do not hold dark or cynical personalities as much as male characters do. She tries to create characters that are essentially flawed and not two-dimensional. You can find her on instagram (@spookyteenager) or on a pop culture zine / website she is a contributing editor of: http://crybabyzine.com/
“Maisie” is a short film based upon the perspective of a teenage girl. she has just passed away, and is looking upon the community she lived in, went to school in, etc., and is viewing their grieving processes. the short film presents her faintly morose character, and describes the bold statement that we may cherish people more when they are dead than when they are alive.
