Artemis Szekir-Rigas is 19 years old and studying filmmaking at university in London. ‘Post‘ was created for a ‘film in a week’ challenge, where her team had two days to come up with an idea, write a script, find locations, costumes, actors and props, one day to film, and two days to edit it all. It was an intense and hectic week, that really proved that you don’t need a giant budget and high-tech equipment to create a good film. Two of her favourite parts of the experience were sneaking into a park after dark through a hole in the fence (and struggling to find it again on the way out) and creating the dramatic lighting in the woods simply by waving a small LED light from side to side. Artemis filled the role of Art Director, Production Designer and 2nd Assistant Camera. The rest of her crew are as follows:
Director: Vik Ganga
Producer and Writer: Anne Marie Rutzou Bruntse
Director of Photography: Benjamin Raymond
By Chloe Leeson
Chloe Leeson is 19 and from the north of England (the proper north). She believes Harmony Korine is the future and is pretty sure she coined the term ‘selfie central’. She doesn’t like Pina Coladas or getting caught in the rain but she does like Ezra Miller & Dane DeHaan a whole lot. Her favourite films are The Beach, Lords of Dogtown and Into the Wild. But DON’T talk to her about Paranormal Activity. She rants @kawaiigoff.
