7. Empire Records-Seems I Never Get Enough

I’m pretty sure it’s everyone’s dream to work in a cool independent record store with cute guys and hot babes all day singing along to your fave songs, right?

6. The Poker House-Ain’t No Mountain High Enough

Probably the least known film in this list, but brilliant none the less. Baby versions of two of Hollywoods hottest rising young stars (Jennifer Lawrence and Chloe Moretz), and a tonne of sister power, this is exactly what I like to see!

5. Reality Bites-My Sharona

Food Mart madness with Winona Ryder and gang ft. Ethan Hawke looking like an embarrassed mum of 3.

4. Beetlejuice-Day O (Banana Boat Song)

More Winona! Definitely one of the stranger song choices in this list but a classic none the less

3. Ferris Buellers Day Off-Twist and Shout

Classic song, classic movie. In the words of Easy A’s Olive Penderghast, ‘Just once I want my life to be like an 80’s movie, preferably one with a really awesome musical number for no apparent reason. But no, no, John Hughes did not direct my life.’ I feel you girl.

2. Almost Famous-Tiny Dancer

This scene makes me nostalgic for a time I wasn’t even alive, so much unity and love here it deffo deserves a top spot.
